A little about myself...
My name is Karl Whitehead, and I have had a love of photography as man and boy. Today, I manage to combine photography with another love of mine, food! I now mainly, but not exclusively, shoot food, a particularly challenging area of photography. Every shoot presents its own peculiar problems to solve, the right props, beautifully prepared food, but most of all, what sets out a mouth watering food shot from the crowd, is the quality of the lighting! I still get the same buzz from getting the shot 'just right' today, as I ever did!
I have been working in photography since 1986, first establishing my own studio in 1998, a successful partnership called Two White Heads Photography based in Manchester. In 2003 I expanded the business to open a second branch of the company in Yorkshire, soon after separating entirely, to become the sole director of TWH Photography based in Elland, Yorkshire, just minutes from junction 24 of the M62. Along the way I have been lucky enough to work for many blue chip clients. Using the best digital equipment, a well appointed studio with excellent kitchen facilities, and making sure every shoot is as important to me, as it is to you!
